V-381 Amethyst Underglaze

Amethyst Velvet Underglaze is a deep grape color that is vivid at cone 05, darkens at cone 5, and becomes a deep violet and begins to lose its color slightly at cone 10. A clear glaze deepens the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature.

Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.
