INK-78 Purple Matte is a violet color that is soft at cone 05, darker and bluer at cone 5, and becomes light at cone 10. A clear glaze accentuates the color of this ceramic ink significantly at cone 05 and cone 5, and causes more blue tones at cone 10. Too thick an application of the ink may result in a glossy finish.

Like an underglaze, this Purple Matte Ink fires to a matte finish that requires a clear glaze to be considered food-safe.

Image tile fired to cone 05, left side unglazed, right side glazed with LG-10.
